  Two major aspects of this enhancement are:
  1. Update the state recording and tracking code to make CP aware
     of the new MT PPRC states and enable it to correctly read old
     states with the new microcode.
  2. Update the external interfaces so that this enhancement can
     be exposed to and utilized by a client.

Comments

• This APAR provides VM support for Multi-target PPRC for DASD
  defined in subchannel set 0. Alternate subchannel set support
  is not provided at this time.  Multi-target PPRC is a new
  function provided in Release 7.4 of the D/T2107.
  
  Warning:  Installations using z/VM who are planning to move
  to the DS8K R7.4 level MUST apply the PTF for z/VM APAR
  VM65544 prior to upgrading their DS8K.  Failure to apply this
  APAR may result in unplanned z/VM outages when any PPRC
  operation is initiated, whether new R7.4 PPRC function is
  exploited or not.
  
  Exploitation of this new function on the D/T2107 storage
  subsystem requires this PTF and a microcode (LMC) upgrade.
  For minimum microcode levels and current maintenance required
  to exploit this new function, refer to the Technical
  Information section of announcement letter ENUS114-171 which
