Rolling upgrade of Operational Decision Manager for z/OS

To upgrade Operational Decision Manager for z/OS® from V8.7 to V8.8.0 while keeping your existing system running, you can upgrade the system gradually, component by component. This process is known as a rolling upgrade. V8.7 includes V8.7.0, V8.7.1, and all of the fix packs.

Before you begin

To perform a rolling upgrade, you must be familiar with operating, deploying, and maintaining the system where Operational Decision Manager for z/OS is installed, which includes installing the product and applying patches.
