Use the console to install IBM® Integration Bus Healthcare
Pack.
Before you start:Before you
begin, complete the following tasks:
To install IBM Integration Bus Healthcare
Pack in
console mode, complete the following steps:
- In the command console, navigate to the installation file
and run the following command:
- On Windows:
installer -i console
- On Linux and UNIX:
./installer -i console
where installer is the name of your installer.
- Continue with the installation process by working through
the on-screen instructions. To return to an earlier screen in the
console, type back. To abandon the installation,
type quit. You can choose which components
to enable.
- If you are installing on Windows or Linux (x86
and x86-64), you can select
one or more of the following components:
- Patterns, Nodes, and Libraries
in the IBM Integration Toolkit:
This option installs the IBM Integration Bus Healthcare
Pack patterns,
nodes, and libraries.
- Web-based Monitoring:
This option installs the components that you require to run
operational monitoring by using a web user interface. For a list of
patterns that you can monitor by using web-based monitoring, see Web-based monitoring.
- Operational Monitoring in
the IBM Integration Explorer:
This option installs the components that you require to run
operational monitoring by using IBM
Integration Explorer.
- Medical Device Integration:
This option installs the node and drivers that you require to
integrate IBM Integration Bus Healthcare
Pack with your
medical devices.
- If you are installing on a different platform, the installer
contains the Web-based Monitoring component only.
- When the installation is finished, complete the postinstallation
steps that are described on the final panel. For
more information, see Completing postinstallation steps for IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack. After you
complete the postinstallation steps, to close the installer,
press Enter.
- To confirm that the product installed successfully, or
to determine the cause of any errors, check the installation log file, installationLocation/Logs/HealthcarePack_install.log,
where installationLocation is the location of where
you installed your IBM Integration Bus Healthcare
Pack. For more information, see Verifying your IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack installation.
The IBM Integration Bus Healthcare
Pack is installed.
