Applying service updates to IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack

Apply service updates by running the installation wizard in graphical mode, console mode, or silent mode.

To apply service updates, complete the following steps:

1. Uninstall your current IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack; see Uninstalling IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack.
2. In the Download section of the support page, click Recommended fixes. The available links are displayed.
3. Select IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack. The available fixes are displayed.
4. Click the fix that you want to download. Details about the fix, and instructions for download and installation are displayed.
5. To find out about the PMRs, APARs, and defects that are fixed by the fix pack, click Problems fixed.
6. To read more details about the fix pack contents, click Release notes.
7. To start the download process, go to the Download package section, click HTTPS.
8. Sign on to the download site by using your IBM ID. If you do not have an IBM ID, you can register on the IBM Support Portal page; see IBM Integration Bus and WebSphere Message Broker support web page.
9. Start the installation wizard. You can run the installation wizard in graphical mode, console mode, or silent mode. For installation instructions, see Installing and uninstalling IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack.
10. Complete the postinstallation steps, see Completing postinstallation steps for IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack.
11. To ensure that the IBM Integration Bus Healthcare Pack nodes are updated, you must restart your integration nodes.
12. On Windows and Linux, within your pattern instances, to avoid overwriting any customized files, save the files that you customized in a separate project. In the IBM Integration Toolkit, regenerate your pattern instances.
