Metro Mirror is a function for application data recovery, but also for failover to remote sites for disaster recovery, remote migration of data, and off-site backups. You can use either the DS Storage Manager or the DS Command-line interface (DS CLI) to help you create, monitor, and manage your Metro Mirror operations.
