Dynamic or static NCP dumps can be stored on the host or, for IBM® 3720 or 3745 Communication Controllers, on the communication controller external disk storage. You can specify where the dump is to be stored (in the event of NCP module error) by using the ACTION operand on the MODIFY DUMP command. The command overrides the DUMPDS operand of the PCCU definition statement.
