Procedure: Modifying a profile

Use the following procedure to modify and existing profile:
  1. Access the Profiles view.
  2. Click expansion icon and select the desired profile.
  3. Make any necessary changes:
    • To change the name of the profile, click the Profile tab and type over the name in the Name field.
    • To change the text description of the profile, click the Profile tab and type over the text in the Description field.
    • To add transactions to the profile, select the Transactions tab and use the Add function. See Procedure: Selecting transactions for a profile.
    • To remove transactions from the profile, select the Transactions tab, select one or more transactions in the table, and click Remove.
    • To modify the properties for one or more transactions in a Robotic Response Time profile, select the Transactions tab, and highlight the transactions, then double-click a field in the Properties tab and type the new value.
    • To distribute a profile, click the Distribution tab. See Creating and using managed system and distribution lists for more information.
    • To schedule maintenance windows for the profile, click the Maintenance tab. See Scheduling maintenance windows for more information.
  4. Click Apply to save your changes and continue using the Application Management Configuration Editor.
  5. When you are finished, click OK to close the Application Management Configuration Editor.
