IBM PowerHA SystemMirror for i Graphical interfaces removed
The High Availability Solutions Manager graphical interface and Cluster Resource Services graphical interface are no longer supported. Use the PowerHA graphical interface.
PowerHA graphical interface enhanced
An enhancement to the PowerHA graphical interface provides the ability to request synchronization of monitored resources that have a global status of Inconsistent. When requested, the current attributes values on a specified node are sent to the other nodes in the cluster administrative domain, which can result in the global status of the monitored resources becoming Consistent.
PowerHA Administrative Domain supports object ownership and authorities
PowerHA Administrative Domain has been enhanced to synchronize ownership and object authority of monitored resources, including private authority of user profiles. In general, the following managed resource element (MRE) owner and authority attributes are supported: object owner, object authority entry, object authorization list, and object primary group.
More information can be found at Cluster administrative domain.
High Availability Solutions Manager graphical interface policies
In 7.2, the High Availability Solutions Manager graphical interface was removed. Since the High Availability Solutions Manager graphical interface is not available to show the user what High Availability Solutions Manager policy choices they have made, PowerHA has provided a simple tool to dump the High Availability Solutions Manager policy settings to the job log.
