Generate Data Rule or Rule Set window - Bindings and Output tab - Bindings view - Data Sources tab

Use the Data Sources tab to define the source that you want to make comparisons against.

Show items with compatible data type only
Select this option to show only the data sources that have compatible data types.

Filtering consists of an attribute, an operator, and a value. Click the Filter icon and then select the attribute, operator, and a text or date value by which to filter the metadata. You can apply the filters to all or any conditions.
Search field
You can type a search string in the text field to search the quality controls by name.
Name
Shows the name of any data sources that are associated with the open project.
Name Alias
Shows the alias name for the data source. An alias is an alternate name you chose for a database, table, or column.
Description
Shows the data source data field.
Data Type
Shows the data type of the data source data field.
View Sample
Click to view the to view a sample of the table or column that you selected.
Set as Bindings
Click to specify the selected data source as a binding for the data rule or rule set.
Open Definition
Select to open the data rule or rule set definition.
Run
Select to run the logic of the data rule or rule set.
View Output
Select to view the output of the data rule or rule set.
Validate
Select to test the validity of the data rule or rule set. If the expression is invalid, a message is displayed in the Alert panel area.
