Generate Data Rule or Rule Set window - Bindings and Output tab - Bindings view - Data Sources tab

Use the Data Sources tab to define the source that you want to make comparisons against.

Show items with compatible data type only: Select this option to show only the data sources that have compatible data types.

(Filter icon): Filtering consists of an attribute, an operator, and a value. Click the Filter icon and then select the attribute, operator, and a text or date value by which to filter the metadata. You can apply the filters to all or any conditions.

Search field: You can type a search string in the text field to search the quality controls by name.

Name: Shows the name of any data sources that are associated with the open project.
Name Alias: Shows the alias name for the data source. An alias is an alternate name you chose for a database, table, or column.
Description: Shows the data source data field.
Data Type: Shows the data type of the data source data field.
View Sample: Click to view the to view a sample of the table or column that you selected.
Set as Bindings: Click to specify the selected data source as a binding for the data rule or rule set.

Open Definition: Select to open the data rule or rule set definition.
Run: Select to run the logic of the data rule or rule set.
View Output: Select to view the output of the data rule or rule set.
Validate: Select to test the validity of the data rule or rule set. If the expression is invalid, a message is displayed in the Alert panel area.
