Generate Data Rule or Rule Set window - Bindings and Output tab - Bindings view - Literal tab

Use the Literal tab to set the literal value as the binding to the rule element in the rule logic variables.

Data Type

Select one of the following data types:

Literal

Enter the literal value.

Set as Binding

Click to set the literal value as the binding for the selected rule logic variable in the grid.

Open Definition: Select to open the data rule or rule set definition.
Run: Select to run the logic of the data rule or rule set.
View Output: Select to view the output of the data rule or rule set.
Validate: Select to test the validity of the data rule or rule set. If the expression is invalid, a message is displayed in the Alert panel area.
