Defining review processes across a community

The review process provides a framework for reviewing assets where you can approve, retire, or delete assets. Users can review and verify the quality and accuracy of assets according to their specific area of expertise

About this task

You can create many different levels of governance by using review processes. You can create review processes primarily by asset type, but you can also constrain the review process to apply to specific asset types in specific categories. For example, you could create a review process on the asset type "Implementation". Depending on what department the implementation is being created for, the content will vary across the repository. Because the Implementation assets were created by solving different problems, you must create review processes by using the appropriate reviewers, review board members, and with the proper constraints so that each review is unique and appropriate for the business context.

Refer to the instructions in the topics below to create reviews using either the default review process or a review process that includes a custom policy.
