You can assign or remove roles for users at any time.
About this task
Tip: Permissions such as the ability to create
assets or download assets are assigned to roles, which you then assign
to individual users or user groups.
Procedure
To modify the roles for existing users in your repository:
- Log into Rational® Asset Manager web
client.
- Open the Administration page.
- Click the community name.
- In the Individual Users section, click the Edit
Roles link that corresponds to the user you want to modify.
- You can also assign a role to All users,
which grants permissions to anyone using the repository, or Signed-in
users, which grants permissions to any valid user of the
repository that is logged-in.
- In the Find User and Assign Roles window, select or deselect
the roles to add or remove from the user.
- Click Finish.
