The workflow system can consist of isolated regions, which contain the queues of work items, event logs, and other configuration information. A connection point identifies and provides access to an isolated region of the workflow system. Client applications use the connection point to access an isolated region for workflow process functionality such as work items, queues, rosters, and event logs. An isolated region can have multiple connection points.
