Message flow nodes

Use the built-in nodes to develop message flows that integrate your data sources with your IBM® Integration Bus applications.

You can connect your data sources to your IBM Integration Bus applications by using the IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack built-in nodes. Use the IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack built-in nodes with the built-in nodes that are provided in IBM Integration Bus to develop message flow applications that meet your requirements. For more information about developing message flow applications, see Developing message flows in the IBM Integration Bus documentation.

OPC-Classic-DARead node

Use the OPC-Classic-DARead node to connect to a OPC Classic DA Server. The sensors in your devices send data to your OPC Classic DA Server. You can use the OPC-Classic-DARead node to retrieve tag data values, these values are then output in TagData XML format.

For more information about the OPC-Classic-DARead node, see OPC-Classic-DARead node.

OPC-Classic-DAWrite node

Use the OPC-Classic-DAWrite node to change the value of a tag on your OPC Classic DA Server.

For more information about the OPC-Classic-DAWrite node, see OPC-Classic-DAWrite node.

OPC-UA-Read node

Use the OPC-UA-Read node to connect your OPC UA Server to your IBM Integration Bus applications that require tag data from the OPC UA Server. When the OPC-UA-Read node is driven by an input node, the OPC-UA-Read node connects and reads data from the OPC UA Server.

For more information about the OPC-UA-Read node, see OPC-UA-Read node.

OPC-UA-Input node

Use the OPC-UA-Input node to connect IBM Integration Bus applications to an OPC UA Server. The OPC-UA-Input node periodically requests information from the OPC UA Server to check whether the defined set of tags have new data.

For more information about the OPC-UA-Input node, see OPC-UA-Input node.

PI-Read node

Use the PI-Read node to read tag data from your PI Server. The data is emitted from the node in the form of an XML message that conforms to the TagData.xsd schema.

For more information about the PI-Read node, see PI-Read node.

PI-Input node

Use the PI-Input node to receive event notifications from a PI Server. You specify the tags for which you want to receive event notifications. The PI-Input node creates a stream of event data for the specified tags on the specified server and emits these events.

For more information about the PI-Input node, see PI-Input node.

MQTTPublish node

Use the MQTTPublish node to publish a message to a topic on an MQTT server.

For more information about the MQTTPublish node, see MQTTPublish node.

MQTTSubscribe node

Use the MQTTSubscribe node to receive messages that are published to a topic, on an MQTT server, to which you are subscribed. The message is sent only once.

For more information about the MQTTSubscribe node, see MQTTSubscribe node.
