IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack overview

IBM® Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack builds on IBM Integration Bus to provide support for applications in the manufacturing industry.

IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack provides the following features:
  • Integrate your OPC Servers with your IBM Integration Bus applications by using the OPC nodes; see Open Platform Communications (OPC) connectivity.
  • Integrate your data sources with your IBM Integration Bus applications by using a PI Server; see PI connectivity.
  • Use the MQ Telemetry Transport (MQTT) connectivity protocol for your publish/subscribe services; see MQTT.
  • View information about the status of your deployed message flows in a web browser, see Web user interface.
  • IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack provides the "Manufacturing: Factory Publication" pattern, which helps you to create an application that can use various transports to publish a feed of data that passes information to another application, see Manufacturing: Factory Publication pattern. To learn more about patterns in general, see Using patterns in the IBM Integration Bus documentation.

For information about the nodes that are provided in IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack, see Built-in nodes.
