Preparing WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources for conversion
Verify that your resources meet the requirements, export them from your IBM® Integration Designer workspace, and import them to your IBM Integration Bus workspace.
Before you begin
A number of constraints apply when you convert WebSphere® Enterprise Service Bus resources into IBM Integration Bus resources by using the WebSphere ESB conversion tool. Identify which constraints apply to your WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources. For more information, see WebSphere ESB conversion tool limitations.
About this task
The WebSphere ESB conversion tool converts WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources that are available in the IBM Integration Toolkit.
Procedure
Complete the following tasks to prepare your WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources for conversion by the WebSphere ESB conversion tool:
- Check your WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources. For more information, see Checking WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources before conversion.
- Export your WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources from the IBM Integration Designer workspace. For more information, see Exporting WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus projects for conversion.
- Import your WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources into the IBM Integration Bus workspace. For more information, see Importing WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus resources.
