Copying the configuration profile directory

If you are upgrading to a different application server but using an existing profile, make a copy of the current configuration profile directory.

Procedure

  1. Make a copy of the configuration profile directory on the existing system. Find the file on the existing application server in the following location:

    AIX®, HPUX, HPUXi, Linux, Linux for System z, Solaris /opt/FileNet/ContentEngine/tools/configure/profiles /opt/IBM/FileNet/ContentEngine/tools/configure/profiles
    Windows C:\Program Files\FileNet\ContentEngine\tools\configure\profiles C:\Program Files\IBM\FileNet\ContentEngine\tools\configure\profiles
  2. Save the copy of the directory to a location you can access from the new application server.
