If you want users to be able to save cross-repository searches
on your IBM® Content
Manager or IBM FileNet® Content Manager repositories, you must
enable cross-repository searches on your repositories.
About this task
When you enable cross-repository searches on your repositories,
IBM Content
Navigator updates the data model
on your repository:
- On IBM Content
Manager repositories, IBM Content
Navigator adds the clbSearchingRepositories attribute
to the ICMSearch class. The clbSearchingRepositories attribute
enables you to save cross-repository searches on the repository.
- On IBM FileNet Content Manager repositories, IBM Content
Navigator adds the Search document
class. The Search document class enables you
to save cross-repository searches on the repository.
You must complete this task for each repository on which you
want to enable cross-repository searches.
Procedure

- Open the administration tool in the web client.
- Click Repositories and select the

cross-repository searches for the repository.
