  • All Implemented Interfaces:

    public class NoSuchPartitionException
    extends java.lang.Exception
    A NoSuchPartitionException exception indicates that the work area partition a user tried to look up doesn't exist. In other words, trying to look up a partition with a name that doesn't exist will throw an exception. For example, if the partition "myPartitionName" doesn't exist, and a user tries to look up a partition with this name, a NoSuchPartitionException will be thrown:

                  . . .

     String myPar = "myPartitionName";
     try{
         //See the UserWorkArea interface and the
         //WorkAreaPartitionManager interface.
         UserWorkArea myPartition = workAreaPartitionManager.getWorkAreaPartition(myPar);
     }
     catch(NoSuchPartitionException e){
         System.out.println("Partition: " + myPar + " doesn't exist");
                  . . .
     }
                  . . .
