You use the governance policy validator to control the
operations that can be performed on specific entities in WSRR, based
on the metadata (properties, relationships and classifications) that
is attached to those entities.
Note: If you are using the governance enablement profile, the governance policy validator is already configured; these
topics are part of the instructions for configuring your own profile. Equally, if you are using the
governance enablement
profile, governance policies should be created and configured using WSRR Studio.
You can control whether operations on selected entities are allowed
by specifying policy rules in an XML file. An operation can be any
of the following events:
- create
- update
- delete
- transition
- validate
- make_governable
- remove_governance
