There is one pacing stage, which is adaptive, for application program-to-application program session over a CTCA connection. Figure 1 shows the pacing stage for this example. See Table 1 and Table 2 for examples of the values used by VTAM® to set the pacing-window values.

Table 1 shows sample definition statement coding and corresponding windows when data flows from the PLU to the SLU.
