You can also do the following things when implementing this function:
Modify the format of the date
You can use the DATEFORM start option to modify the format you use to set the date. The default is MM/DD/YY. For the syntax of this start option, see the z/OS Communications Server: SNA Resource Definition Reference.
Specify the alert interval
You can change the length of the interval between the time MOSS sends an alert to the time that MOSS IPLs the communication controller. Use the MODIFY LOAD command with the NOTIFY operand. The default is 60 minutes.
Display a scheduled IPL
You can display the information about a scheduled IPL using the DISPLAY DISK command. For the syntax of this command, see z/OS Communications Server: SNA Operation.
Cancel a scheduled IPL
You can cancel a scheduled IPL using the MODIFY LOAD command with ACTION=SETTIME,IPLTIME=CANCEL specified.
