You can initially activate resources by doing one of the
following actions:
To control activation of resources that are
lower in the hierarchy, you can do one or both of the following actions:
If you make changes to your definition statements,
deactivate and then reactivate the major nodes that are affected.
Otherwise, the changes are not recorded.
Note: If you
specify a warm start of VTAM, the status recorded in a configuration restart file overrides initial
status. VTAM either activates
a node or leaves a node inactive according to the status of the node
when VTAM was last running.
