PATHOPTS Operand

z/OS TSO/E User's Guide

Identify the file access and status modes used when accessing the hierarchical file specified on the PATH operand. You can specify file access to specify how the system will manipulate the file.

Syntax 
ALLOCATE PATH('pathname')
         PATHOPTS(file-option[,file-option,…])
