The GET_ALL_G function returns SMDE entries for all available generations in all the members of a PDSE. The SMDEs contain the PDSE directory generation information SMDE_GENE as mapped by the macro IGWSMDE. The SMDE returned can be selected by a combination of name and absolute generation number. The absolute generation number is an ever increasing number that identifies a generation.
