>>-jobname--COMMAND REJECTED – --AUTHORIZATION FAILURE---------->

>--+------+--COMMAND REJECTED  – ------------------------------->
   '-text-'

>--SOURCE OF COMMAND HAS IMPROPER AUTHORITY--------------------><

A command was entered by an operator or from a console that lacks sufficient authority to issue the command. If JES2 is unable to obtain messages from the security product, the $HASP687 message is issued; otherwise, text indicates that any messages issued by the security product follow the $HASP690 message.

If COMMAND REJECTED – SOURCE OF COMMAND HAS IMPROPER AUTHORITY is displayed, this message will also be issued if the source where the command originated does not have the proper authority to issue the command.

In the message text:
jobname
The name of the job.
Note: A jobid may precede $HASP690. See JES2 message format.

System action

The command is ignored; JES2 processing continues.

Operator response

Notify the system programmer that this authorization failure has occurred.

System programmer response

Contact the security administrator to determine whether the command should be accepted. Update the appropriate profiles, if necessary, and notify the operator that the command may be reentered.

If COMMAND REJECTED – SOURCE OF COMMAND HAS IMPROPER AUTHORITY is displayed, verify that the command should be accepted from the source where the command was issued. If so, then update the authority of the source where the command originated.
