An I/O error has occurred while reading from the offload data set.

In the message text:
n
The number of the offload device.

System action

If a pre-processing job is being read, the job in error is purged. If the error occurs while SYSOUT data sets are being read, any data already received will be kept.

If the maximum limit of 10 consecutive errors per reload operation has been exceeded, JES2 automatically drains the offload device. If the maximum limit has not been exceeded, the reload process continues with the next job.
