$HASP532

Explanation

Read syntax diagramSkip visual syntax diagram
>>-jobname –  – --devname--RESTARTED---------------------------->

>--+--------------------------+--------------------------------><
   +-,JOB HELD----------------+
   '-,OUTGROUP NON-SELECTABLE-'

One of the following occurred:
  • The operator has entered a $E command directed to the SYSOUT transmitter indicated by devname.
  • The transmitter has received an error indication from RTAM.
  • The sending node does not have the proper authority defined for the target node. (See the note under Operator Response.)
In the message text:
jobname
The name of the job.
devname
The name of the device.
Note: A jobid may precede $HASP532. See JES2 message format.

System action

The SYSOUT transmitter stops transmitting data sets for its current job and issues an RTAM “close” to cause the SYSOUT receiver to delete any output it has already received (that is, purge the received job). The transmitter will place the JOEs it has acquired back in the network JOE queue for transmission at a later time.

If JOB HELD appears in the message, the transmitter received an error indication from RTAM when sending a job header, job trailer, or an end-of-file. The job is held to avoid immediate retransmission in case the job was actually received correctly.

If OUTGROUP NON-SELECTABLE appears in the message, the transmitter received an error indication from RTAM when sending a data set header or a data set. The data set is marked non-selectable to avoid immediate retransmission.

Operator response

If JOB HELD appears in the message, determine whether the JOB was correctly received before releasing it. If OUTGROUP NON-SELECTABLE appears in the message, the non-selectable data set can be displayed using the $L command and the data set can be made selectable for retransmission using the $T command.

Note: This message can also be issued when the SYSOUT transmitter attempts to send an NJE job to a receiving node that does not have job authority on the sending node definition. Ensure that the receiving node has your node correctly defined and check your definitions for that node by doing the following:
  1. Enter a $D JOBQ 'jobname' command for the job indicated in the $HASP522 message.
  2. This will result in the $HASP890 message, providing the target node id.
  3. Enter a $D NODE command for that id to receive the $HASP826 message, which displays the settings for that node.
  4. Enter the $T NODE command to define the target node for job authority, if necessary.
