Explanation

The mail filter program cannot find the socket protocol.

filtername is the name of filter registered by filter program in the xxfi_name of the smfiDesc variable used on the smfi_register() API.

System action

The filter program ends and returns MI_FAILURE.

Operator response

Contact the system programmer.

System programmer response

Change the socket protocol. For example, if an inet6 protocol is specified in the filter invocation, then ensure that the stack supports inet6.
