Testing the call-home policy
You can test the call-home policy configuration after the modem is installed and configured correctly.
Note: You can test the call-home policy only when it
is enabled. See Configuring the call-home policy for
instructions about configuring the call-home policy.
To test
the call-home policy, you must have one of the following authority
levels: - Administrator
- Authorized service provider
Note: This task is not available on the 9080-MHE,
9080-MME,
9119-MHE, and 9119-MME systems.
To test your call-home policy configuration, complete the following steps:
- On the ASMI Welcome pane, specify your user ID and password, and click Log In.
- In the navigation area, expand System Service Aids.
- Select Call-Home Test.
- Click Initiate call-home test. A test of the call-home system is performed as specified by the current port and modem selections.
