PM76465: IN RDZ BAD JOB CARD WAS CREATED USING SCLM EXPLORER VIEW

Rational Developer for System z Refresh Pack 8.5.1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Bad job card was created using SCLM Explorer View in Rational
  Developer for system z
  
  When attempting to do a batch build the jobcard seems to be a
  combination of the default jobcard and the jobcard lines that I
  entered
  in the ispf.conf file in USS see below..

  //         'SCLM BUILD',CLASS=E,MSGCLASS=Z,
  //USERIDA  JOB (SDMR00000),
  
  We do have a work around thanks to Cynthia Krauss.  If a new
  workspace is created after the ispf.conf file is modified the
  problem does not occur.
  
  According to Cynthia Kraus has Paul Meaney  confirmed this is
  broken, so we need an apar opened for this.
  Create new or take existing workspace
  Change jobcard in the ispf.conf file
  In SCLM Explorer View do a batch build
  

Local fix

• Create a new workspace is created after the ispf.conf file is
  modified then the problem does not occur.
