IT25665: ABORTED RESUBSCRIBE OF AN OBJECT FOR QUEUE MANAGER JOINED IN MULTIPLE CLUSTERS CAN RESULT IN SUBSCRIPTION INCONSISTENCIES.
A fix is available
Closed as program error.
Errors AMQ9511 and AMQ9448 are logged along with FFST regarding ProbeID: RM220005 and Probe Type: MSGAMQ9511 given by one or more slave repmans due to inconsistencies between CPUs regarding subscriptions in number and referenced object as well as expiration time. When multiple slaves are affected, in consequence the problem described in IT24388 may occur. This is a generic description of a multi root cause error scenario, please also check APARs about other problems identified: IT25665, IT25666, IT25669, IT25671. This APAR is about a problem identified during resubscribe for an object in all clusters, when the queue manager is joined into multiple clusters.
In cases where the resubscribe operation is aborted, the list of clusters, created on start is not cleared. Due to this, the list is not newly created when used again and is therefore potentially not in the expected order. This causes problems in master/slave synchronization, which results in subscription inconsistencies.
Code was changed to guarantee, that list of associated clusters is always cleared after usage.
