Cast expressions

A cast operator is used for explicit type conversions. It converts the value of an expression to a specified type.

The following cast operators are supported:

• Cast operator ()
• The static_cast operator (C++ only)
• The reinterpret_cast operator (C++ only)
• The const_cast operator (C++ only)
• The dynamic_cast operator (C++ only)
