Moving Your Media

This section provides information about how you can use BRMS to track the movement of your media from one location to another. You can use move policies to create move patterns for selected media. You can then set move-related commands to issue the move patterns that you specify in the move policy. BRMS can also help you to verify that the move patterns take place as scheduled.

To view the move management options available in BRMS, take the following steps:

1. Type GO BRMMEDMOV at a command line and press Enter. This takes you to the Move Management menu.
