Installing IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface on IBM InfoSphere Information Server, Version 8.5 or later

To install the module, you use the installation program for IBM® InfoSphere® Information Server, Version 8.5 or later.

1. Install the latest version of the InfoSphere Information Server Update Installer on the installation image of InfoSphere Information Server.
   For information about installing the Update Installer, see the section about installing an additional product or tier to an existing InfoSphere Information Server installation on the web page for your version.

2. Log in to the computer as an administrator or root user.
3. From the product CD or the downloaded image of the module, extract the archive file for your operating system.
4. Copy the QSAVI directory into the is-suite\payloads directory of the InfoSphere Information Server installation image.

   You must copy the QSAVI directory into the InfoSphere Information Server payloads directory for the installation program to recognize the IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface product module. If you do not copy the directory, you cannot install the module.

5. To run the installation program, complete the steps for your operating system:

   Operating system	Command
   Linux, UNIX	Change to the is-suite directory of the InfoSphere Information Server installation image. Enter ./setup.
   Windows	Navigate to the is-suite directory of the InfoSphere Information Server installation image. Double-click the setup.exe file.

   Important: This step only starts the installation program. For the complete instructions about starting the installation program, see the IBM InfoSphere Information Server Planning, Installation, and Configuration Guide.
6. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. When you reach the Product Selection page of the installation program, choose one of the following options:
   • If IBM InfoSphere QualityStage is already installed, select the IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface v10 check box.
   • If IBM InfoSphere QualityStage is not installed, select the IBM InfoSphere QualityStage and IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface v10 check boxes.
7. On the Windows client computers, install the client tier:
   1. From the product CD or the downloaded image of the module, extract the archive file for the Windows operating system.
   2. Copy the QSAVI directory into the is-client\payloads directory of the InfoSphere Information Server client installation image.
   3. Navigate to the is-client directory of the InfoSphere Information Server client installation image.
   4. Double-click the setup.exe file.
   5. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. When you reach the Product Selection page of the installation program, select the IBM InfoSphere QualityStage and IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface v10 check boxes.
