Importing the tutorial rule set

You use the InfoSphere® Information Server Manager to import the tutorial rule set into the project that you created for the tutorial.

1. Click Start > Programs > IBM InfoSphere Information Server > IBM InfoSphere Information Server Manager.
2. Connect to the metadata repository that contains the tutorial project.
   1. In the Information Server Manager application window, right-click in the Repository view, and then click Add Domain.
   2. Specify the application server and an InfoSphere Information Server administrator user name and password.
   3. Click OK.
3. In the Repository navigation tree, right-click the StandardizationRulesDesignerTutorial project, and then click Import.
4. Import the Camping_Rules_for_Tutorial.isx file.
   1. Browse to the directory that contains the file. By default, the file is in the Standardization_Rules_Designer_product_tutorial directory where you copied the tutorial files.
   2. Select the file, and then click Open.
   3. Click Import.
   4. Ensure that the StandardizationRulesDesignerTutorial project is selected, and then click OK.
