System administrator
System administrators can integrate LDAP and perform hardware performance tuning.
- LDAP integration
You can integrate the software protocol, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), into InfoSphere® MDM Collaboration Server so that you can locate organizations, individuals, and other resources such as files and devices in a network. - Global data synchronization administration
According to your requirements, the following configurations are required to be performed. The configurations take place in IBM® InfoSphere Master Data Management Collaboration Server, however, the settings reflect in Global data synchronization (GDS). - System monitoring
You can monitor both your software and hardware components of InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server to ensure that your system operates at an optimal level. - Document store management
You can manage the document store to manage all incoming and outgoing files, including import feeds, scripts, reports, and specs. - Data maintenance
New report jobs are available to estimate, delete, or archive obsolete or unused data in the InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server system. These report jobs are based on the options that are provided in a lookup table, and can be scheduled to run on an appropriate maintenance window using the in-built scheduler. - Enabling and configuring the spell checker
You must enable and configure IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Collaboration Server parameters and the Sentry Spell Checking Engine spell checker from WinterTree to provide spell checking capabilities within the Single Edit screen for items and categories. - Application server performance checklist
Use this checklist to resolve common issues of the performance of your application server service.
