Use this procedure to import the sample InfoSphere® DataStage® projects into your integrated
development environment (IDE) workspace.
Procedure
- From the IBM® InfoSphere Master Data Management
IWM Samples file, go to the opt\mdmsamples\mdm_integration directory
and import the com.ibm.mdm.iis.datastage.mdmapi and com.ibm.mdm.iis.datastage.mpxdata projects
to your local machine.
- From the \mdmsamples\mdm_integration\mdm_datastage\jars directory,
copy the madapi.jar and com.ibm.mdm.mds.job.client.jar files
to your IBM Rational® Software Architect or IBM Rational Application Developer workspace.
- Copy the InfoSphere Information
Server ccjava-api.jar, ced-beans.jar,
and dmdiCore.jar files from the InfoSphere Information Server installation
directory to your workspace.
- Update the build paths of the two sample projects.
- Clean and build the projects to make sure that they compile
without error.
What to do next
If you enhanced or customized the sample MpxData job, then
you must export the projects as JAR files and then test the enhanced
code by following the instructions in
Preparing to use the MpxData sample in InfoSphere DataStage.
