Managing master data
You can create and manage product data and collaborate
across your team to exchange and synchronize product data. With Global
Data Synchronization you can manage publications and publish items
within the Demand Side and Supply Side user interfaces.
Getting started
To get started with IBM® InfoSphere® Master Data Management
Collaboration Server, you
need a user name, password, and a company name. You can choose to
use the InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server user
interface, Demand Side Global Data Synchronization user interface,
or the Supply Side Global Data Synchronization user interface depending
on the managing task that you want to perform.
Working with content
Creating items and searching for items and editing content
within items and catalogs are key tasks in master data management.
When you work with objects, you can use the tips and shortcuts provided
to make optimal use of the interface.
Rich text editor overview
You use the rich text editor to customize the format, colors
and various other kinds of features to text associates with an attribute
that is of type Rich Text. You can use the native rich text editor
shipped with the product or you can use a rich text editor of your
choice.

Running and managing jobs enables you to automate when
a report, import, or export is run.
