IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management, Version 11.3A maximum entity size task is generated when the size of an entity will exceed the threshold that was determined during the configuration of the entity type. The size of the entity is determined by the number of members that will link into the entity plus the current size of the entity.
The maximum entity size task must be resolved so that the entity can automatically resume linking members. Until the maximum entity size task is resolved, any additional members that may score high enough to link into the entity will also receive maximum entity size tasks.
After the maximum entity size task is resolved, any new maximum entity size tasks for this entity will be resolved automatically and the members joined to the entity. In addition, the entity can expand higher than the threshold without extra actions from the data steward.
