Configuration item modifications

Individual configuration items can be modified through the Management Console.

If you modify dynamic configuration settings, the change takes effect immediately. If you modify a static configuration setting, you receive a warning to inform you that the change to the static configuration setting will take effect only after you have restarted the application server.

There are two methods you can use for modifying configuration items: using the interactive mode, or using the scripted mode.
