Enhancing an existing WSRR V8.5.5 installation

You can use the manage content tool to run upgrade plug-ins on an existing WSRR V8.5.5 installation. You might do this, for example, when you previously upgraded from an earlier release without running a particular upgrade plug-in, and you now want to enhance your data to take advantage of a V8.5.5 feature.

To enhance the existing WSRR V8.5.5 installation, complete the following steps:
  1. In the WSRR web UI, go to the configuration perspective and select Manage content > Transform content.
  2. Browse for and load the upgrade plug-ins that you want to run on your WSRR content, if they are not already loaded.
  3. Enable the required upgrade plug-ins in the Plug-in settings list.
  4. Supply any required parameters for your selected upgrade plug-ins.
  5. If you have enabled multiple upgrade plug-ins, specify the order that they run in by dragging them to the required location in the list.
  6. Click Start Transformation to run the selected upgrade plug-ins on the migrated data to convert it so that it you can use new features implemented with WSRR V8.5.5.
The interface displays status information as it runs the selected upgrade plug-ins, so that you can monitor progress.
