Application server configuration

This section describes configuration settings that allow WSRR to coexist with other applications on the same WebSphere® Application Server.

WSRR makes use of WebSphere Application Server and provides a default configuration that is set up by the installer. It is a common requirement that WSRR must coexist with other applications on the same application server. This section identifies settings and configurations that are required by WSRR, but that might conflict or must be modified to allow it to coexist with other applications.

Note: If you are installing WebSphere Application Server on an AIX® system with Firefox as the supported browser then, to ensure that the WebSphere Application Server launchpad.sh script functions correctly, install the Bash UNIX command shell.
