  • If you plan to use Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 or later as controller nodes or DB2®node, set RemoveIPC=no in file /etc/systemd/logind.conf.. RHEL 7.2, plan to install IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack Deployment Server on a system with over 64 GB of physical memory, see Installation fails with create_database_opscode-pgsql error in installation log. RHEL 7.2 started using the systemd facility, and RemoveIPC=yes is defined in /etc/systemd/logind.conf as a default, it might cause an IBM instance crash.
