Defining solution connectivity
Define the bindings and endpoints that Insight Server uses when connecting to external systems.
- Creating a solution connectivity file
Create a solution connectivity (.cdef) file that describes the connectivity assets for your solution. The solution connectivity .cdef file that you create is stored in the Connectivity Definitions folder. - Solution connectivity examples
You define the inbound and outbound bindings and endpoints for your solution in a connectivity definition (.cdef) file. - Defining inbound connectivity
To specify the manner in which Decision Server Insights handles inbound messages, you must first define the inbound bindings (that is, the message format and protocol). For messages that do not conform to the event schema, you define how to transform the messages into events. And then, you must define your outbound endpoints. - Defining outbound connectivity
Define the outbound bindings and endpoints that Decision Server Insights uses when sending outbound events in the form of messages.
