Creating a solution connectivity file

Create a solution connectivity (.cdef) file that describes the connectivity assets for your solution. The solution connectivity .cdef file that you create is stored in the Connectivity Definitions folder.

1. Open the Decision Insight perspective (Window > Open Perspective > Other > Decision Insight).
2. Select File > New > Connectivity Definition.
3. Select a solution project, enter a name for the connectivity definition file, and then click Finish.

   A .cdef file is created in the Connectivity Definitions folder of the solution project.

4. Add the definitions for inbound and outbound bindings and endpoints. For information on the syntax of bindings and endpoints, and to view some examples, see Connectivity definitions.
5. Save your work.
