You use the DVS format wizard to create a new DVS format.
About this task
You create a new DVS format to define how your tests and
simulations work. A DVS format is the container for the scenario provider,
the KPIs, and the execution results.
Procedure
To create a DVS format:
Open the Customization.sspc file in
your DVS project in the Rule Explorer.
In the Overview tab, under Formats click Import to
import the default Excel formats, or click Create to
create a new format.
In the New DVS format dialog, enter
a name in the Name field, and click Next. The Precision options are for the Excel
formats only.
Select the scenario provider class to be used in the format,
or click Create to create a new scenario provider. You can select the default provider and change or add providers
to the format later.
If you select to create a new provider, the New
DVS Scenario Provider dialog opens. Enter the Package
Name, new Scenario Provider Class Name,
and click OK. The new scenario provider
class is added to the DVS project under the src folder.
