Desktop Settings restrictions

Desktop Settings are supported in on-premises policies for service users, but with a few restrictions.

The service enforces the following settings, found on the Mail tab, for all users in the service. The service ignores these settings in an on-premises policy.
Note: For information on using Desktop Settings to enable managed mail replicas, see Using Desktop Settings to configure managed mail replicas.
