To allow browser users to follow links to IBM® Notes® documents,
views, and applications that on-premises users send, configure an
on-premises IBM Domino® HTTP
server to resolve the external links.
Procedure
- Complete the following steps to configure an on-premises IBM Domino HTTP
server to resolve the links. The cloud service must be able to connect
to this server.
- Open the Domino directory for the domain in which the
server is located.
- Click .
- Open the Server document for the server in Edit mode.
- Click the Internet Protocols tab
and then the Domino Web Engine tab.
- In the Redirect to resolve external links field,
select By Server.
- Save the Server document.
Note: If some of your browser users are mail file delegates
of on-premises users, configure all Domino application
and mail servers to run HTTP and to resolve external links.
- Log on to the service as an administrator.
- If your account also has the
User role, click .
- In the System Settings section
of the navigation pane, click IBM SmartCloud Notes.
- Click Account Settings and then
click Email & Calendar Options.
- For When converting Notes doclinks to web links,
use passthru URL or domain, provide the URL or the host
name of the server you configured to resolve the links.
