If you are using systems other than
Linux on x86 or
Windows, you must first create your
integration nodes (brokers) on those systems; see
Configuring brokers.
If you are using Windows, you must have administrator
access rights to create integration
nodes by
using the IBM Integration Explorer. When creating an integration node, you might be prompted to
agree to the use of administrator rights or be prompted to enter an
administrator user ID and password.
On Linux on x86 or Windows, use the IBM Integration Explorer to create local integration
nodes, and to configure, modify,
and administer your local and remote integration
nodes.
To start the IBM Integration Explorer:
- Open a command shell in which the mqsiprofile command has not
been run and enter the strmqcfg command, or run /usr/bin/strmqcfg.
- Click , or double-click
the shortcut on your desktop labeled 'WebSphere MQ Explorer'. On Windows systems, if user account
control is enabled, you must right-click WebSphere MQ Explorer,
and select Run as Administrator to start the
application with the appropriate privileges.
In the
IBM Integration Explorer you can configure
integration node, integration server and message
flow properties including security and configurable services. See
the following tasks for more information:
